The laboratory gives exposure to conventional and intelligent instrumentation. Students will be able to learn the operating principles of the conventional instruments and interfacing these instruments with Programmable Logic Controllers.

The laboratory is equipped with Siemens S5 PLC, Siemens Sematic software Ver. 7.0, PLC I/O Interface and transducers to measure temperature, pressure, displacement, weight, flow rate, speed and position.
