MECHANICS LAB

The Mechanical laboratory comprises of Engineering Mechanics Lab and an Engineering Drawing lab.

The Mechanics lab comprises of equipments which enable the students to investigate the phenomena associated with statics and dynamics. Experiments include force analysis, analysis of friction, determination of moment of inertia, performance analysis of lifting machines, determination of spring constant, performance analysis of wheel and axle arrangement, study of oscillation and determination of ‘g’, performance analysis of pulley block, etc.

The Engineering Drawing lab contains forty engineering drawing tables. This enables the students to study the basic engineering drawing concepts and gain the practice of engineering drawing.
