COMPUTER LAB

Totally there are 184 computers in the labs. All PCs are DELL Optiplex, Pentium 4 with Windows XP Professional.All IT resources are accessible and available to students as per the college policy. PCs in labs are allotted for the use of students. Required software are installed and available for use. Labs are assigned to students as per their syllabus requirement for software. Students are allowed to access internet during their free time and restricted during lab sessions. We use web filter to monitor and filter the web content. Access to web pages containing pornography, streaming media, chat, games, remote access, hacking, specific file downloads such

as are blocked to maintain the educational institution’s atmosphere and also to keep the available bandwidth for constructive use. All students are provided with individual user accounts on domain server and a home folder to store the data on a central location. Students are provided with the scanning and printing facilities with the high end scanners and printers.
