ADMISSION PROCESS

Admission process normally starts from the month of March every year by way of announcing in leading news papers of Oman. The following procedure is followed for the admission.

Application form: Application form along with admission brochure can be obtained from the Registrar, WCAS by paying RO 25.000. The admission form can be submitted on or before the last date for submission of completed application form even if the result of secondary / senior secondary level is not declared. Eligibility:

For BE Programs:

Student having minimum 50% marks in aggregate at the senior secondary level exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology for BE (Biotechnology)) are eligible to apply for admission. The firm admission to the degree program will be granted only after and on the basis of the entrance evaluation test conducted by WCAS in Muscat or CBSE-AIEEE examination score. Students who do not qualify in the entrance evaluation test for the direct admission to the degree program will be given an option (subject to their performance in entrance evaluation test) to undergo one year foundation program.

For BCA Programs:

Student having minimum 50% marks in aggregate at the senior secondary level exams with Mathematics / Business Mathematics / IT are eligible to apply for admission. The firm admission to the degree program will be granted only after and on the basis of the entrance evaluation test conducted by WCAS in Muscat. Students who do not qualify in the entrance evaluation test for the direct admission to the degree program will be given an option (subject to their performance in entrance evaluation test) to undergo one year foundation program.

For BBA Programs: (Full Time & Part Time)

Student having minimum 50% marks in aggregate at the senior secondary level exams is eligible to apply for admission. The firm admission to the degree program will be granted only after and on the basis of the entrance evaluation test conducted by WCAS in Muscat. Students who do not qualify in the entrance evaluation test for the direct admission to the degree program will be given an option (subject to their performance in entrance evaluation test) to undergo one year foundation program.
