The primary passing criteria, apart from the eligibility based on senior secondary performance as stated in the admission process, for direct admission to any of the degree programs is to obtain IELTS band above 6 in English evaluation test. Any applicant getting below 6 and above 3 band will be offered foundation program in the respective degree programs. Applicants getting below 3 will normally not be admitted. Applicants getting between 3 and 5 will be admitted in level 1 of foundation year where as those getting between 5 and 6 will be admitted in level 2 of foundation year.
The secondary passing criteria for direct admission to the degree program is to obtain minimum 50% marks in the Mathematic / Biology, Physics and Chemistry, as per the requirements of the degree program applied for. In absence of obtaining the desired percentage the student of BE / BCA would be asked to opt for BCA/BBA programs provided he / she fulfills the passing criteria of English as stated in the above paragraph. Those getting less than 35% marks will not normally be admitted.
If more number of eligible applicants, than the capacity of degree program, qualify the entrance evaluation test then the admission will be based on the merit of the entrance evaluation test marks.
Those applicants who will fulfill the above criteria will be given firm admission and will be asked to deposit first semester tuition fees along with caution deposit within seven days of declaration of the admission list. Few students will be kept in waiting list who will be given admission if the firm admission applicants do not deposit the fees by the announced date without permission.
Orientation Program for the newly admitted students
During the first week of the commencement of the academic session, a week's orientation program will be organized for the freshly admitted students. In the orientation program the students will be familiarized with the college, the facilities, the academic regulations, the conduct rules, extracurricular activities, officers of the college, when, whom and how to contact for what purpose, etc.
