The social club was established in
January 2004. Under social activities it started off by
collecting relief fund for the
Earthquake Victims of Iran, when the country was hit by
an earthquake in early 2004.As the saying goes “Man is a
Social Animal”. We are made not to exist in isolation,
but to interact, express and learn from our fellow human
beings around us. Students have inert talents in them
that make them different from one another. The need for
well rounded personalities in today’s employment
scenario is the need of the hour. This need can be dealt
with by organizing activities to demonstrate and to
bring to life the hidden potential of students.
Nowadays, soft skills at the workplace are very
important both for engineering or a management graduate-
pleasant personality, communication skills and
extracurricular talents that demonstrate additional
value to the organization via your creativity for
example in music, writing etc. Social activities in
college can help provide a platform for our students in
order to achieve the above objective. Our college
organizes an “Annual Day” on a large scale every year
with exhibitions, cultural programmes by Omani and
Expatriate students. This year the college organized a
college picnic for students for recreational purposes.
The club takes the opportunity to thank the students for
their contribution.
