The college has expanded its facilities by building a new four storied teaching block that has facilities for 40 classrooms, a state-of-the-art library with e-learning facility, computer lab, staff rooms, medical room and offices for administrative staff and facilities for disabled students.
Other than the new teaching block, a multipurpose seminar hall, featuring the latest public address and audiovisual system with a capacity of 337 participants,
has been constructed. Adjacent to the seminar hall, a spacious canteen with common room (carom and chess boards) facility is already functional. Medical room with first aid facility including oxygen cylinder, drip, ECG, etc. and managed by a trained nurse is available during the college hours in the new teaching block.
The college now has a capacity to cater to 1200 students. The total floor area of the old building (3,000 sq. mtrs.) and
recently built teaching complex (5,825 sq. mtrs.), seminar hall (700 sq. mtrs.) and canteen (395 sq. mtrs.) is 24,420 sq. mtrs.
Apart from the above, a spacious car parking area (7,500 sq. mtrs.)
has come up with a flexibility to utilize it as an open
air theater with a seating capacity of more than 1000
spectators is already in place. The expansion plan was carefully taken up to include the requirements of Ministry of Higher Education and that of the Birla Institute of Technology. The addition of seminar hall cum auditorium is a unique feature of the complex with state of the art acoustic system, light control and audiovisual system.

Science is currently upgrading its infrastructure facilities
to meet modern demands. A new academic building, workshop
and canteen with a total built up area of 6,885 m² has been
added to the existing infrastructure. These new buildings
are scheduled to be completed before the upcoming Monsoon
Semester 2011.
